BOUNTIFUL-- Margaret Helen Burningham Barlow, age 93, passed away Aug. 23, 2000.
Born May 8, 1907 in Bountiful to John Henry and Emma Corbridge Burningham. Graduated in Education from University of Utah, taught at Stoker Elementary until 1933 when she married Elmer Wright Barlow on July 14 in the Salt Lake Temple. They were married for 67 years. She was a beloved grand-mother to her grand-children, her home was always open and she was a friend to all. Loved her flower garden, was a great cook, and her crochet work is enjoyed by her large posterity.
Survivors include her husband; one daughter and three sons: DeAnn (Veldon) Wilde; Bob (Joann); Kay (Becky); and Jim (Dianne), all of Bountiful; a sister, Mary Waddoups; sister-in-law, Laurel Furse; 15 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.
Special thanks to her daughter, DeAnn and husband Veldon Wilde for their devoted and loving care. Veldon was more than a son-in-law, he was a true son.
Services will be Saturday, August 26, 2 p.m., at the Bountiful Tabernacle, Main and Center Streets, where friends may call from 12:45-1:45 p.m. Interment in the Bountiful City Cemetery under the direction of Lindquist's Bountiful Mortuary.
