Cline, 88, who died April 9, at St. Petersburg, Fla., following a six month illness, were Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Huff Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen.
Mr. Cline was born in Bremen, June 22, 1881 to Harrison and Ellen Reed Cline. He moved to South Bend from Bremen in 1923; in 1950 he move to Chicago; and then in 1957 to St. Petersburg. He was a farmer.
In 1901 he was married to Olive Huff, who preceded him in death in 1948. He then married Florence Schnaedter in 1949; she died in 1968.
He was a former member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church and, at that time of his death, was a member of the Gospel Center of St. Petersburg.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Lucile) McQueen, Plymouth, and Mrs. John (Laola) McQueen of Rochester; one son, William of Fort Wayne; one brother, Elmer of Osceola; three sisters, Mrs. Elmer (Hattie) Eslinger of Bradenton, Fla., and Mrs. I. O. (Erma) Pfeiffer and Mrs. Lillie Annis, both of Bremen. There are five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The officiating pastor for Mr. Cline's funeral was his grandson, Rev. James Hosch of Monroe, Mich.
Burial was in the Bremen Cemetery.
