“Marie” Goodman Terry, 67, went home to out Lord on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 7:15 p.m. Marie was born April 25, 1951 to Pearl Faye and Arlis E. Goodman in Cordell, OK. Marie was a woman of great faith and a true believer in the Lord, Jesus Christ. Marie was one of seven daughters, mother of two and grandmother of four.
Marie attended Lookeba Sickles High School then graduated with a secretary and a cosmetology license. It wasn’t until she started her career in collections that she found her passion continuing until she retired in 2010. Marie is preceded to heaven by her parents, Arlis E. Goodman and Pearl Faye Goodman, her sisters, Sharon Carlton of OKC, OK, Nelda Robinson of Sidney, NE, Nada Wilson of OKC, OK, Gail Fox of Everett, WA. She is survived by her husband, David “Tater” Terry, her two daughters, Angela Liddiard of Oklahoma City, OK and Anna Al-Mufleh of Edmond, OK, her four grandchildren, Audrey Liddiard, Ashtun Friend, Clinton Liddiard and Elijah Al-Mufleh.
Marie is also survived by her sisters, Ann and Dwain Crutcher of Watauga, Texas, Thelma Selick of OKC, OK, in-laws, Helen Terry of Edmond, OK and Debra and Mike Barrett of Edmond, OK and a host of other nieces, nephews and friends and last but not least, her faithful companion, Casanova.
Public visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 5th from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with family present from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
