Calfernia was the daughter of Henry/Harry Crittenden and Lydia his wife. At this point I don't know where Harry and Lydia are buried; probably in Potter Co PA or nearby. Harry's father was Ebenezer Crittenden of Willett, Cortland, N; his mother a Native American woman of the Seneca tribe, who went by the name of Anna. I do not know the maiden name or nativity of Lydia, her mother. Calfernia was the wife of Rev. John Lane Phoenix and mother of at least five children: Lenora Calfernia, Ellen Ann, Rose, John Lane Jr., and another son who died in infancy. She died of typhoid.
