Carole Rae Nigh 76, of Sapulpa, passed from this life on January 28th, 2019 surrounded by her family.
Carole was born on July, 6th, 1942 in Old Keystone, Oklahoma to Floyd and Mary Jane Abbet. She graduated from Mannford High School and went on to take accounting classes and did book-keeping. She was a caretaker for the elderly most of her career and later in life she was a housekeeper.
Carole was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. She loved her two sons immensely and they were her world. She greatly enjoyed taking care of her family and she was known to feed anyone who walked through her door. Carole was the pillar and strength of the family and will be greatly missed.
Carole is survived by her children; Steve and Terry Nigh, of Sapulpa, and Grandchildren Ashley and David Friend, of Sapulpa; Brandie and Jason Moore, of Jenks; Jennifer Nigh, of Bixby; Steve Nigh Jr, of Bixby; Aaron Short, of Bixby; Terry Nigh Jr, of Sapulpa; and Great Grandchildren; MaKayla, Holly, Connor, and Ame.
She was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Mary Jane Abbet, sister Gayle Nottingham, brothers Gene and Raymond Abbet and many other beloved relatives and friends.
Services will be February 4th at 10:00 AM at Smith Funeral Home in Sapulpa. Open Visitation is Sunday February 3rd starting at 1pm. Services are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, 1208 S Main St, Sapulpa, OK.
