Our dear sister and friend, Paulette Aiken passed away peacefully Jan 23, 2019. Paulette entered this world Nov. 13, 1951 in Spanish Fork, Utah. She was the youngest of three daughters born to Chester and Nadine Aiken. Her early education was in Pleasant Grove and Orem, then graduated Orem High School. In her formative years there were family, friends, a large number of relatives and reunions. The Church of Latter Day Saints was a priority. And she participated in many activities.

Paulette graduated B.Y.U. with a master’s degree in Child Development, Education, and Counselling. During these years of higher education Paulette completed her mission. That was in Spain.

In Paulette’s career of social work she helped so many people. Her intelligence, education, and experience benefited all and through all of this she had serious health issues herself. She developed M.S in her late 20s and lived a normal life with this crippling disease.

Paulette never married but took great care of her many pets. She served in many church positions. She collected books, dolls, antiques, and art.
Friends from the Church loved her and were there for her until she passed. Thank you all. You are all special people.

Paulette was preceded in death by her parents, Chet and Nadine Aiken, and her sister Sherry Scoggins. She is survived by her sister, Suzan Barker.

Services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Friday February 1, 2019 at Heber Valley Funeral Home (288 N. Main St. Utah) with a viewing one hour prior to the services.
