Brenda Kay Romig, 52, 1222 S. H St., died Wednesday at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born June 25, 1943, in Elwood. she was the daughter of Bin and Izora (Moon) Bambrough.

She graduated from Wendell Willkie High School and is a member of Main Street Wesleyan Church and the Poetry Society. She was a bookkeeper for Fettig Canning Company. She also worked for Stover Soft Water for 11 years and Kevin's Soft Water.

Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Byron Romig; a daughter, Cathy Romig Pearson of St. Robert, Mo.; her mother, Izora Harney of Elwood; two brothers, Bill Bambrough of Elwood and Richard Cox of Eteajon, Calif.; three sisters, Carolyn Swaills of Lebanon, Alice Mathews of Culver and Martha Ruth Wolf of Arizona; one grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Roland E. Cox, Adrian Bambrough and Dan Bambrough.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Dunnichay Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Becker officiating. Cremation will follow. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
