She attended St. Wendelin's School in Luxemburg and Cathedral High School in St. Cloud. She followed her sisters to the Twin Cities to work and it is there she met this handsome Italian man named Tom Margotto. They were married on June 5, 1946 at St. Wendelin's Catholic Church in Luxemburg. She was a homemaker and later worked as a baker at Land O'Lakes until her retirement
