A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at St. Michael Chapel in Egan for Virginia Quebodeaux LeJeune, 81, who passed away January 18, 2019 surrounded by her family.
Fr. Jude Thierry, pastor of St. Michael Chapel will be officiating for the services. The family is requesting visiting hours to be held Monday from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm on Tuesday at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home in Iota. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm Monday. Interment will be in Sensat Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband Garry LeJeune, Sr. of Egan; four children, Garry “Chicken” LeJeune, Jr. and his wife Romona of Egan, Gwen L. Leger and her husband Huey of Egan, Karen L. Husers and her husband Oliver of Egan, and Daniel “Gravy” LeJeune and his wife Carrie of Franklin, TX; two sisters, Margie Patin and her husband Dale of Scott, and Joyce Quebodeaux of Scott; ten grandchildren, Joseph Garry LeJeune, III and his wife Linave, Johnathan LeJeune and his wife Laurie, Cody Leger and his wife Stephanie, April Leger, Jason Husers and his wife Rolicia, Stephanie Schexnayder and her husband Barry, Chad Husers and his wife Anita, McKayla LeJeune, Ty LeJeune, and Bailey LeJeune; sixteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. LeJeune is preceded in death by her parents, Godsay and Ida Doucet Quebodeaux; one grandson, Allen “OP” Blanchard; four sisters, Elzora Pousson, Clarice Thibodeaux, Addlia Andrepont, and Ethel Pousson; and his in-laws Willix and Adell LeJenue.
