J. Nesbitt Newton, 95 of Crystal River died Monday, May 14
2007.

He was born December 30, 1911 in Oliver, Georgia and moved
to Homosassa with his wife Janet and son Craig from Georgia.

Mr Newton and wife owned the Crystal Apartments for 25yrs
in Crystal River. He helped his son Craig in his Well
Drilling business, Newtons Well Drilling for many years.
Before moving to Florida, he and his wife owned a gas station and grocery store in Savannah Ga, for 25 yrs and he
worked for Seaboard Rails for 10yrs.

He enjoyed planting a very large garden and when he was
younger enjoyed fishing, going to Flagler Beach and vacation with his family. Mr Newton was a member of the
First Baptist Church of Homosassa where he served as a
Deacon. He was named an "Honorary Lifetime Deacon.

He and his wife Janed celebrated their 73rd anniversary
on April 1, 2007.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his son Craig
and wife Sharon of Homosassa, 2 granddaughters, 1 great-
granddaughter, and 4 great,great grandchildren.
