TEMPLE, Elizabeth Baker, 80, of Mechanicsville, a retired graphic artist at J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College, died Sunday, January 13, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Mamie Baker; brother, William Baker; and her youngest son, Richard Lee Temple. She is survived by her husband, the Reverend Robert L. Temple; son, Gordon E. Temple (Maria) of Yuma, Ariz.; daughter, Amy L. Temple; three granddaughters, Rebekah L. Temple, Robyn McNabola (Liam) of Sunderland, England, and Louise E. Temple; and a grandson, Robert J. Temple. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 17, 2019, at the Mechanicsville Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Rd., where services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, January 18, 2019. Interment will follow in Hanover Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mechanicsville Presbyterian Church, 7339 Atlee Rd., Mechanicsville, Va. 23111.
