Edith Rush was born near Stamford, Nebr. June 4 1885. She joined the United Brethern Church when sixteen years old. She was united in marriage with Scott Winders February 22 1911. They then made their home in Cooper Co., Mo., unitl 1917, when they returned to this community where they made their home until death departed them May 30, 1924.
She leaves to mourn her departure, her husband, her father and mother, Mr and Mrs Albert Rush of Stamford, Nebr.; one sister, Mrs W.S. Lemonds, husband and family of Stamford, Nebr., two brothers, Harold H. Rush, wife and family who are temporarily at Brewerton, Wash for the benefit of their health, Forest A. Rush and wife of Berwyn, Nebr; an aged grandmother besides many aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.
The funeral was held at the Bethel Church, Monday June 2, the Rev S.S. Lemonds of Pawnee City, preaching the sermon
