She departed this life on January 12, 2019 in Hayti, Missouri at the Pemiscot Memorial Hospital. She was 88 years old.
On June 3, 1957 in Hernando, Mississippi, she was united in marriage to Mr. Robert Ottinger.
Louise worked for the Brown Shoe Company for 37 years from August 2, 1955 until June 2, 1992.
She was a dedicated member of the Temple Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for many, many years.
She is survived by - her husband, Robert Ottinger of Caruthersville, MO, a niece and her husband, Jackie and Mike Blackwell of Piedmont, MO, 3 nephews - Terry Ottinger and his wife of Sikeston, MO, Gary Ottinger of Washington and Ronnie Ottinger, her brother-in-law and his wife, Ralph and Geneva Ottinger of Cape Girardeau, MO, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 4 siblings - Ruby Blackwell, Viola Dawson, Milburn Gallaher, and Gene Gallaher.
Funeral services were held January 14 at 12:00 p.m. at the Temple Baptist Church with Brother Jim Pilcher officiating. Interment in Maple Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Temple Baptist Deacons.
