Born in Tompkinsville on May 5, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Hent and Lydia (Coulter) Curtis.
She attended school in Tompkinsville and was employed several years as a bookkeeper for Thompson Poultry.
Survivors include a son, Curtis E. Woods, and a daughter, Phyllis A'Beel, both of Franklin; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
A granddaughter, Kathryn Stonebraker, preceded her in death.
Graveside services were held at the Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, Ind.
