J. S. McAdams
J. S. McAdams, aged 53, prominent resident of Double Wells, died yesterday morning at his home there. Mr. McAdams, who for many years has been a prominent resident of Jefferson County, is survived by three sons, Curtis of Pine Bluff; W. P. of Sulphur Springs, and Arthur of Pine Bluff; and two daughters, Mrs. N. L. Morris of Double Wells, and Mrs. V. M. Spharler of Pine Bluff. A brother, W. K. McAdams of Millport, Ala., and a sister, Mrs. Mollie Prater of Millport, also survive. The remains were transported to Pine Bluff yesterday by Robinson and Son. The body will lie in state pending the arrival of Mr. McAdams’ brother and sister. The funeral will be held at 3 o’clock Monday afternoon from the Robinson chapel. Interment will be in Bellwood.
