William John Jamison, 69 of Concord, died March 22, 2015 at his home. He was born on November 23, 1945 in Waynesburg, PA and had been a long time Painesville resident.
William graduated from Riverside High School and Ohio University. He was owner and operator of the Painesville Perkins for the past 38 years. He was a devoted family man and enjoyed playing golf, driving his Corvette, and watching John Wayne movies. William was a member of GYRO of Western Reserve, Quail Hollow Country Club, and was Past President of the Local Northeast Ohio Restaurant Association.
Survivors are his wife of 46 years, Jeanne (Oliver) Jamison; father, William F. Jamison; sons, William G. (Tracy) of Mentor and Michael (Melissa) of Twinsburg; grandchildren, Jack, Carter, Alexis, and Hadley.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Sara Lee "Sally" Jamison.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 26, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home, 368 Mentor Ave, (Opposite Lake Erie College). Funeral Service will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Painesville United Methodist Church, 71 N. Park Place, Painesville, with Rev. Gerald Kalb presiding. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Painesville.
Memorial contributions are suggested to, Painesville United Methodist Church, Hospice of the Western Reserve, or to a charity of one's choice.
