Bill was employed by Uniroyal for 37 years and retired in 1985. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran. Bill was a member of Painesville United Methodist Church, American Legion Post #336, Temple Lodge #28 F&AM, and the Al Koran Shrine of Cleveland.
He enjoyed traveling the United States, woodworking, and watching his TV Westerns. He especially enjoyed the time he spent with his family.
Survivors are his daughter-in-law, Jeanne Jamison; grandchildren, William G. (Tracy) Jamison and Michael (Melissa) Jamison; great grandchildren, Jack, Carter, Alexis, and Hadley; and sister-in-law, Mary Lou Crouser.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 72 years, Sara Lee; his son, William; and brothers, Robert and L. Richard Jamison.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 19, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home, 368 Mentor Ave.,(opposite Lake Erie College) Painesville, Ohio. A Masonic Service will be held at 6:45 p.m. Funeral service will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Painesville United Methodist Church, 71 N. Park Place, Painesville, Ohio.
