Inez "Jean" Davis, 85, of Greeley, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2018 with family by her side. She was born on June 16, 1933 to Albert and Eva Nichols in Fort Morgan, Colorado. She was one of seven children. She was happily married to Kenneth J. Davis at the time of her passing. She loved playing cards, taking trips to the mountains and spending time with her family. She had an infectious smile, a big heart and was instantly adored by all who met her. One of her fondest memories included visiting the old Adena Church, where she was baptized and grew in her Christian faith. Jean is survived by her husband, Kenneth J. Davis; children, Kathy Weimer of California, Vicky Klein (Dennis) of Colorado, Rod Weimer (Rhonda) of Colorado, Lanette Weimer-Wardlaw of Colorado, Bobby Weimer of Colorado; son-in-law, Bill Bauer of Colorado; daughter-in-law, Karen Weimer of Colorado; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Betty Schreiner, Audrey Spear and Lois Kembel, three brothers, Duane, Don and Cecil Nichols, daughter, Julie Bauer, son, Kenneth Weimer and granddaughter, Tonja Weimer. The family wishes to extend heart-felt thanks and appreciation to the nurses and staff of Tru Hospice for their loving care during this difficult time. A Memorial Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 9, 2018 at Stoddard Funeral Home. Inurnment Sunset Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tru Hospice of Northern Colorado in care of Stoddard Funeral Home, 3205 West 28 th Street, Greeley, Colorado 80634.
