m: Mrs Judith Carolyn (Ramey) Hagerty, who brought her 2 sons, Edward and George Hagerty, to the marriage. .

"I believe this is Alfonso/Alphonse Barry who lived in Angels Camp CA with his wife Judith Carolyn Ramey Hagerty and her 2 sons Edward and George Hagerty. They were there in the 1900, 1910, 1920 census etc. with the mother still in Angels Camp in the 1940 census. The son Edward Hagerty-Barry died in 1918 and is buried in Altaville Cemetery, CA.
Alphonse Barry was an attorney and was accused of raping and getting pregnant a young girl in 1919. She had working in his office. I could not find a newspaper account of whether he was found guilty or not. He was in the 1920 census with the family but vanished after that. Judith Carolyn Barry died 1/11/1951 in Alameda Co. CA which is where the son, Edward, died in 1918"
