Robert E. Kidwell, 81 of Marion, died peacefully Saturday morning December 15, 2018 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 19, 1937 in Cincinnati to the late Calvin S. and Ruth A. (McClain) Kidwell, he was also preceded in death by a brother: David Kidwell and a sister: Patricia Blanton
Bob was a 1956 graduate of the Radnor High School. He had worked for the former Albers Grocery in Marion and retired from Nachurs in Marion. Bob was a huge sports fan, he loved the Reds, Bengals and Buckeyes. He was always looking forward to the next game to watch. He and his wife enjoyed traveling, Myrtle Beach was one of the family favorites, they also were known to enjoy trips to Las Vegas and Biloxi for a little gambling.
Surviving is his wife Catherine (Hall) Kidwell, they were married June 18, 1957 in Radnor, also surviving are their children: Robert E. (Patricia) Kidwell of Cincinnati, Steven L. (Gail) Kidwell of Prospect and Scott A. (Cheryl) Kidwell of Delaware Grandson: Cody Kidwell Step grandchildren: Kristine Rovtar, Cara (Dana) Gamble, Cullen (Mary) Rea and Drew (Vanessa) Rea Several step great grandchildren Brother: Richard (Barbara) Kidwell of Findlay and sister-in-law: Judy Kidwell of Delaware
Funeral services will be held Wednesday December 19, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood, Pastor Joseph Rhea will officiate, friends may call two hours prior to the service beginning at 12:00 noon at the funeral home in Richwood. Burial at a later date will take place in the Claibourne Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made to the Central Ohio Diabetes Assn. at 1100 Dennison Avenue Columbus, OH 43201
