A dispatch was received here, this morning announcing the death at Corning, of Mr. Leander Millspaugh, formerly a citizen of this place. He died yesterday afternoon and his remains will be brought to Ithaca, at noon to-morrow for burial. The Odd Fellows, of which fraternity deceased was a member, will have a meeting at 7 ½ o’clock this evening, to make arrangements for the funeral.

The remains of Leander Millspaugh arrived from Corning at 3 o’clock, this afternoon, and were met at the depot by a body of citizens, and the fraternities to which deceased belonged, who took charge of the burial ceremonies. The deceased carried on the harness-making business for thirty years in Ithaca, and the harness makers all closed their shops during the funeral out of respect to his memory.
