Christian and Maren and Maren (Mortensen)
Jensen was born near Jamestown October 31,
1887, and passed from this life at
his home May 29, 1943, aged 55
years, 1 months and 29 days.
Mr. Jensen lived in or near Norway,
Kansas except for two years that
he lived in Hollis, KS,
When only a boy of about 13, be
began to make his own way,
making his home for some time
with Alex Scott.
He was united in marriage to
Minda Olson December 7, 1912.
Mr. Jensen was an ardent worker
and provided well for his family.
His community activities were
many and varied but his chief interest
centered around the home
which was always congenial, cheer and
happiness seemed always present.
He was a man of extreme honesty
And the golden rule was his motto.
Mr.Jensen was esteemed and respected by
all who knew him.
He was a kind and loving husband
And a splendid father and
will be greatly missed by his family
and many friends. He leaves to mourn a loving
wife and eight children, Mrs..
