Floyd Fought, 87, of Parkersburg, passed away Friday, December 14, 2018 at Camden Clark Medical Center.
He was born August 13, 1931, in Newark, WV, a son of the late Willie and Ruby Owens Fought.
Floyd retired from the Diamond Glass Company after 33 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. Floyd was an avid WVU fan and was a member of the Southside Southern Baptist Church in Parkersburg.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Betty Ruble Fought; one son, Mike Fought (Robin) of West Grove, PA; one daughter, Linda Fought Anderson (James) of Tennessee; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, Ray Fought (Donna) of Parkersburg; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Floyd was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Tucker; and two brothers, Earl and Robert Fought.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg with Pastor Don Yeager officiating. Burial will follow at K. of P. Cemetery in Elizabeth, WV.
