Obituary: Blanche K. Laird Austin
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, Blanche Kitt Hodge Laird Austin, age 76, died Dec. 30, 1998 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born Nov. 8, 1922 in Walkerville, Montana to John and Blanche Kitt Hodge. Married DeMar Laird. He preceded her in death. Married Richard A. Austin. They have been happily married for 24 years.
Survivors: husband, Richard; son, Jack (Gail) Laird; grandchildren, Kathy (Tyler) Curtis, Brian (Gretchen) Laird, Steven (Misty) Laird, David Laird; one great-grandson, Conner Curtis; brothers, Calvin (Beverly) Hodge and Jack Hodge.
Graveside Services, Mon., Jan. 4, 1999 at 11 a.m. at the West Jordan City Cemetery, 1300 West and 7800 So. Funeral Directors Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary.
