Mrs. Harriett J. Challacombe, 47, 0f 807 Forest, died Thursday at a local hospital. She was born at Kansas City, July 14, 1911, and had been a resident of Topeka since April, 1947. She was a member of the Oakland Presbyterian church. Surviving are her husband, George S. Challacombe of the home; and two sons, Richard Challacombe and William Challacombe of the home; a sister, Mrs. Lillian Shipman of Fort Worth, Tex.; three brothers, Richard Krueger and Lawrence Krueger, both of Oklahoma City, and Clarence Krueger of Huston, Tex. Services will be at 11 am Saturday at the Wall-Diffenderfer chapel with burial in Scranton cemetery. The Rev. Curtis Gannaway of Oakland Presbyterian church will officiate.
