I was told a story that Mary's husband was a drunk and very abusive to Mary. The children had memories of going to the saloon and asking the saloon keeper to please not serve their father so they could have money to eat instead. It was told he had beat Mary to the brink of death one time. [Robert Cathcart]
Mary and William divorced and Mary ended up in California with her children.
While in California Mary met and married Charles Easton. They ran a small grocery store on Compton Ave. in Los Angeles. Charles raised Mary's small son "Bill" and he took the name Easton.
She was married to William Morley.
Mary's children are; Elsie Morley-Perkins, Martha Morley-Cathcart, Louise Morley (died as a child) and Albert William Morley Easton.
She married Charles H. Easton around 1906 in California.
Mary is my great great grandmother.
