She was born in Gaston County, the daughter of the late Posey and Oveda Jackson Blanton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two infant children; sister, Ruby; brother, Bobby; and brother-in-law, Kenneth Wilson.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Frank Hendrix; son, Jason Hendrix; sisters, Louise Haas, Inez Wilson, Diane Davidson, and Freida Mull; several special nieces and nephews.
Frances was a member of First Assembly of God and was retired from Tyco.
