PIONEER WOMAN PASSES
FALL PROVES FATAL TO MRS. ARMINDA MAXWELL
Mrs. Arminda Maxwell, 70, a resident of this district almost all of her life, died last night at the Eugene hospital from injuries received in a fall about a week ago. She has lived in or near Eugene since childhood and her home in recent years has been on motor route A.
She is survived by her husband, John Maxwell, four daughters, Mrs. Tillie Rice, Mrs. W.H. Pennington, Mrs. Eliza Frisbee and Mrs. Ruby Raxe(?); and five sons, J. Wiley, Henry, Alex, Roy and Orville Maxwell, all of Eugene.
Mrs. Maxwell was a member of the Methodist church of Irving. Veatch chapel has charge of the funeral arrangements and services will be held at the 2:30 o'clock. Interment will be in Luper Cemetery.
