Funeral services for Mrs. Alicia Vaughn Taylor age 78 will be conducted Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at 11 AM in Williams Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Glover officiating.
The family will receive friends here at Williams Funeral Home in Milledgeville on Monday from 6 until 8 PM.
Mrs. Taylor was a native of Dodge county and had made her home in Milledgeville since 1967. She was retired from Central State Hospital as a Registered Nurse. She was a Graduate of the Georgia College School of Nursing and was a member of the Baptist Faith. She was predeceased by her parents, George and Ina Lou Tully Vaughn; her husband, Joseph Taylor, Jr. and a grandson, Paul Taylor.

Survivors include her sons. Phillip (Kassie) Taylor of Milledgeville and Joseph Taylor III of Sparta; daughter, Ashley (Brett) Phillips of Milledgeville; grandchildren, Odessa (Cameron) Furmage of Warner Robins, Madison Randall and Aidyn Phillips of Milledgeville; sisters, Fannie (Clyde) Combs of Florida, Jeannie Shackleford of Thomasville and Betty (Al) Brown of Alabama; brothers, Melton (Wanda) Vaughn of Eastman and Donald Vaughn of Gordon.
In lieu of flower the family request donations to the Georgia College Scholarship Fund.
