MYERS, Lewis Thomas, "Buster", 73, of Roanoke passed away Sunday, January 16, 2000 in Roanoke. Buster served his country in the Air Force during World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Grace Myers and by a son, Gary Myers. Surviving family include a daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Bill Honaker of Roanoke; a brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Lois Myers of Roanoke; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lois and Fred Sweet of Salem, Katherine Neighbors of Salem; four grandchildren; a good friend, Mike Abrams and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2000 in Mountain View Cemetery with the Rev. Charlie Hoffler officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., Monday at the Lotz Vinton Chapel.
