Jeannette G. (Hoffman) Adams, 84, of Stoverstown, died Sunday November 25, 2018 following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Charles A. "Sonny" Adams Jr.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the Geiple Funeral Home Inc., 53 Main Street, Glen Rock with Pastor Gregory Thomas, officiating. The family will receive friends and relatives from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
Mrs. Adams was born December 2, 1933 in Baltimore County, Md., a daughter of the late Harvey Lester and Clara M. (Brenneman) Hoffman.
She attended Grace Fellowship Church, York and enjoyed being with her family at special events and at the holidays.
She leaves a son, Harvey L. "Clyde" Adams (Lori) of York; a daughter, Beth A. Hitz of York; a grandson, Ryan M. Adams (Laura) of York; two great grandsons, Samuel and Benjamin Adams; two sisters, Betty Mays, of Hampstead, MD and Shirley Kohler of New Oxford. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Kelly Marie Adams and three brothers, Carroll, Harvey "Tim", and Paul "Pete" Hoffman.
