SALT SPRINGS -- Doreena Ryals Covin, 29, a preschool teacher, died Friday, Oct. 4, 1996, in Hernando County as the result of an accident.
A native of Tampa, she came here from Clearwater in August. She was a member of Big Sandy Baptist Church in Tuscaloosa, Ala., where she was a Sunday school teacher.
Survivors include her husband, John D. Covin Jr., Clearwater; parents, Jerry and Brenda Ryals, Salt Springs; grandfathers, Bill Wingard, Opp, Ala., and Earl Ryals, Orlando; sisters, Costonia Ryals and Becky Ryals, both of Salt Springs; brothers, Aaron Ryals, Salt Springs, and Mark Ryals, Apopka.
Hiers Funeral Home, Ocala, is handling arrangements.
