No grave marker has been found for Antonia (Jendro) Backowski, born during Jan 1853 in Bohemia (now part of Czech Republic). Sacred Heart Church death records show she died in Flensburg on 20 January 1939 and was buried there three days later.

Those records indicated either "new" or "old" cemetery until about 1929 when the practice stopped, presumably because few burials continued in to be made in the old cemetery. Given the lack of a marker for Antonia, very rare in the new cemetery but common in the old, it is not certain which cemetery she was buried in. However, it is very likely her husband, who died between the 1905 and 1910 census was buried in the old cemetery. the only one then existing. The earliest available Sacred Heart Church death records are from November 1909 and he is not listed in those records. The date of death and burial place of her husband, Vincent Backowski, has yet to be determined. It was common practice to bury the spouse in the same cemetery as their earlier deceased husband or wife.

It is believe that Antonia's mother Katherine Jendro is also buried in this cemetery.

Several early grave markers in the old cemetery has disappeared because of their poor quality (wood, plaster) or due to extensive vandalism which occurred long ago. Some years after the vandalism the remaining grave markers were installed on long rows of concrete to reduce further deterioration due to tipping as ground shifted because of the high water table.

The June 1900 census stated Antonia had been married for 26 years to Wenzel (Vincent) Backowski, also born in Bohemia during September 1839. They and three children born in Bohemia immigrated to the United States during 1892. Those children were Wenzel (Vincent) Jr., born September 1882, Anton (Anthony, Tony) born August 1888 and Frank born September 1890. A daughter Lena was born in Wisconsin during May 1894 before the family settled in Culdrum Township, Morrison County, about April 1896 according to the 1905 MN census.
