She was a charter member of Ranger Riding Club and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. She had one son, Cory Lee Vinson of Ranger. Her parents were Jack and Peggy Bearden of Ranger. She had one sister, Tracy Casey of Ranger; two brothers, Larry Bearden of Wingate and Mark Bearden of Ranger. Her maternal grandmotherwas Irene Thomas of Ranger.
