TED MEACHAM, 48, of Ranger, died January 4, 2004 at a Fort Worth hospital. Graveside services and interment were held January 7, 2004 in Evergreen Cemetery. He was born August 2, 1955, in Brownwood, Texas, and moved with his family to Ranger in 1964 where he attended Ranger Schools as well as Ranger College. He married Teresa Wheeler on June 16, 1980 in Ranger. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ranger. He worked as a truck driver for about 9 years until he became disabled.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa Meacham of Ranger, daughters, Amanda Meacham of Ranger and Telisha Huerta of Cisco; a brother, David Meacham of Waco; a sister, Ethel Stover of Mineral Wells; two grandchildren, Layne and Skyler Walton; and several nieces and nephews.
