Joe Ann Amorine, 68, of Walcott, died Tuesday, June 1, 2004 at her residence.

She was born January 11, 1936, in Caruthersville, Missouri.

Mrs. Amorine was formerly the activity director for Home for the Golden Years, Paragould, and social director for Rose Care Nursing Home, Jonesboro. She was a member of Stanford Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Charles Anthony Amorine and Mark Vincent Amorine; and one daughter, Tina Wood, all of Walcott; two brothers, Daniel David Jarrett and Jerry Jarrett, both of Paducah, Kentucky; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Amorine; her parents, William Loyd and Mary Eastwood Jarrett; two brothers, Bill and Jackie Jarrett; and by one sister, Mary Alice Jarrett.

Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Friday, at Mitchell Funeral Home, Paragould.

Funeral service will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel, with Marion Gramling and Tom Elliott officiating. Burial will be in the Warren's Chapel Cemetery.
