Allen Fiddie, 81, of Moncks Corner, SC, a retired wharf builder at the Charleston Naval Shipyard, died Tuesday evening at his residence.

His funeral will be 2:00 PM Friday afternoon, November 16, 2018, in the Chapel of Dial-Murray Funeral Home, Moncks Corner. Interment will follow in the Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Thursday evening.

Mr. Fiddie was born September 22, 1937, in Moncks Corner, SC, a son of Theodore Fiddie and Mattie Mizzell Fiddie. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, and was a former employee of Daniels Construction. Mr. Fiddie enjoyed hunting, fishing, and building homes, but he especially enjoyed animals, farming, and watching the Stag's play football. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and family vacations in the mountains.

Surviving are, his wife, Joyce Burbage Fiddie; two daughters, Robin Burns and her husband, Cecil, of Jacksonville, FL, and Suzanne Lynch and her husband, Brian, of Moncks Corner; two sisters, Mamie Parker and Hattie Dangerfield both of Moncks Corner; two brothers, Jimmy Fiddie and Raymond Fiddie both of Moncks Corner; four grandchildren, Brandon Jeffery, Jonathan Lynch, Megan Burns, and Angelina Bopp; a great grandchild, Ben Lynch; and his favorite pet, Kody.
