EDNA GOFORTH TATUM, 58, of Nesbit, Miss., formerly of Memphis, salesperson for Mid-South Products, died of heart failure Monday at her home. Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Family Funeral Care with burial in Mount Vernon United Methodist Church Cemetery. She was a member of Al-Anon We Care Group. She leaves five sons, Wayne Goforth, Earl Goforth, Alan Goforth and Gerald David Goforth, all of Memphis, and Bill Goforth of Southaven; three sisters, Sallie Amburgey and Sammie Herring, both of Memphis, and Susie Carver of Nesbit; two brothers, Buddy Drane of Memphis and George Drane of Batesville, Miss., and three grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Le Bonheur Children's Medical Center. (Published in The Commercial Appeal 4/29/1999)
