Herbert "Buddy" Wanzer Drane, Memphis, TN, Passed away at the age of 81 on February 9, 2016 at Signature Healthcare, Dovecrest, Memphis, TN. He was born in Memphis on January 28, 1935 and was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church for over fifty years, He worked at E.L. Bruce Lumber Company, Shoney's Inc., and at Macon Road Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Sallie Drane and sisters, Sallie Amburgey and Edna Goforth Tatum. He is survived by sisters, Sammie (Brack) Herring and Linda Sue Carver; and many nephews and a niece. The family will receive friends Friday, February 12 from 1 p.m. until the service at 2 p.m. at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave. Burial will follow in Bartlett-Ellendale Cemetery in Bartlett, TN.
