He leaves behind his children: Randall Shumate, John (Daphne) Shumate and Sharon (Kevin) LeStourgeon; stepchildren: Nancy (Rick) Weinberg, Joy (Steve) Kibler and Danny Turner; grandchildren: David (Kim) LeStourgeon, Gregory Shumate, Jessica Shumate, Michele Shumate, Ryan Kibler, Candice Turner, Daniel Turner, Rebecca Shumate, Stephen Turner, Cathy Weinberg, Aaron Weinberg, Susie Johnson and Annie Height; great grandchildren: Hannah LeStourgeon, Mathew Hollowell, Kinsey Hollowell, Andrew Turner, Cynthia Turner, Tyler Turner, Samuel Smith, Caitlyn Sharp, Leeann Smith, Christopher Reed, Sean Johnson, Eric Johnson, Megan Height, and Brenden Weinberg; and three great-great grandchildren.
