He spent his entire life in Greene County, where he was a farmer, and for 24 years was a supervisor for Perry Township.
He was a member of the Sportsman Club of Mt. Morris and James T. Maxon American Legion Post 992 of Mt. Morris.
Mr. Kiger never married.
Surviving are two brothers, Larnie Kiger of Mt. Morris R.D. 1, with whom he made his home, and Okle O. Kiger of Rogersville; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are five brothers, Vernon, Raymond F., Jesse D., Hansel and Daws S. Kiger; and four sisters, Grethel Wilson, Flora Fox and Altha Mae and Rosa Faye Kiger.
