Services for Gary Godleski, 17, of 25 Wyncrest Dr., East Syracuse, who died November 4 at State University Hospital after a long illness, were held November 7 at St. Matthew's Church, where a requiem Mass was celebrated by the Rev. James K. Bennett. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.

A senior at Bishop Grimes High School, he had lived In East Syracuse most of his life. He was born in Syracuse. He was a communicant of St. Matthew's Church and a member of its CYO basketball team.

Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Godleski; a brother, John Godleski of North Syracuse; three sisters, Miss Maryclair Godleski, Mrs. Lawrence Hawkins of Silver Spring, Md., and Mrs. Francis Ahearn of Michigan; a niece and two nephews. Arrangements were by the Kline Funeral Home.
