Donald was born on March 15, 1937 in Wellington, KS to Harvey Luther and Bessie M. (Curry) Brawdy.

He graduated from Wellington High School and then served in the United States Navy from November of 1954 to January of 1958.

He married Sue Jean McEwen on August 16, 1969 in Arkansas City, KS.

Sadly, Sue Jean passed away in 1995.

Donald then married Carol Rowan on May 23, 1998 in Wichita, KS.

He was a retired conductor for the Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe (AT&SF) Railroad.

Donald Dean Brawdy, age 81, Wellington, Kansas and Belle Plaine, Kansas resident most of his life, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at LakePoint Wichita in Wichita, KS.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife Sue Jean Brawdy.

Left to honor his memory are his wife, Carol Brawdy of Wichita, KS and sister, Phyllis Shaw of Roswell, NM.

Graveside Services will be held at Highland Cemetery in Winfield, KS on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. Reverend Arley Forsyth of the First Pentecostal Church in Wichita will officiate. The family requests that memorials in his name be given to First Pentecostal Church.
