Harold E. Boldosser, age 93, of Carlisle, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Chapel Pointe.

He was born July 19, 1925 in South Middleton Township, the son of the late Frank Boldosser and Miriam (Shenk) Boldosser. He was married for 67 years to Mary Jane (Hoover) Boldosser; who preceded him in death in September 2016.

Harold is survived by his sons, Edwin and wife Nina of Mechanicsburg; and Ray and wife Patricia of Carlisle; brother, David Boldosser (wife Alma); sister, Miriam Myers, daughter-in-law, Betty Boldosser; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Ross, two brothers and two sisters.

Harold was a 1943 graduate of Carlisle High School. He retired as a Milk Tester with the Cumberland County Dairy Heard Improvement Association. After retirement from the DHIA, he enjoyed working for WLS Motors and CVM as a courtesy driver and he was a regular volunteer at Project Share. He was a long-time member of St. Paul's Lutheran in Carlisle where he sang in the choir and served on many boards/committees. He worked for many years as a volunteer on the church team producing peanut butter eggs by the thousands. He was a former North Middleton Township Supervisor and a long-time member of the Y's Men Club in Carlisle- you may have bought your Christmas Tree from Harold. He enjoyed sports, particularly Penn State football and watching the Steelers and Phillies. He seldom missed an athletic event in which his sons participated.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Hoffman Funeral Home in Carlisle, PA with Rev. Nancy Easton officiating. A visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. A private Burial service will be scheduled by the family.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the nursing and personal care staff at Chapel Pointe and Hospice of Central PA for their loving care.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Y's Men Organization, in care of the Carlisle Family YMCA, 311 S. West Street, Carlisle, PA 17013.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road Carlisle, PA 17013.
