She was born December 26, 1928 in Newville to the late Paul and Anna (Fry) Hoover.
Jane was a 1946 graduate of Big Spring High School and was in the first graduating LPN class at Carlisle Hospital in 1947. She was employed by the Carlisle High School, and Capital Intermediate Unit as a teacher's aide. She enjoyed reading, gardening, family get-togethers and especially her grandchildren. Jane cherished the very special relationship that she had with all her brothers and sisters. She had been a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church for nearly 50 years.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Harold Boldosser of Carlisle; two sons, Ed (and wife Nina) Boldosser of Mechanicsburg and Ray (and wife Patricia) Boldosser of Carlisle; a daughter-in-law, Betty Boldosser of Carlisle; a sister, Joan (and husband Ken) Wagner of Carlisle; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by a son, Ross Boldosser; five sisters; and three brothers.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 23, 2016 at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 W. Louther St., Carlisle, PA with Rev. Robert Moore officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. There will not be a viewing or visitation prior to the service.
