Sandra J. “Sandi” Craig Bradford, daughter of Harry and Thursia Myers Craig, was born on February 9, 1949 in Newton, Iowa. She was was a 1967 graduate of Newton High School and also attended the Americana School of Beauty.
On March 1, 1975, Sandi married Jimmy Richard “Jim” Bradford in Newton. They had lived in Altoona and Des Moines. Sandi was a Customer Communications Tech for Qwest in Des Moines for many years. She enjoyed going to craft shows, shopping, and traveling.
Sandi died on Friday, October 19, 2018 at Accura Healthcare of Newton East under the care of Hospice of the Midwest. She was 69. Sandi was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jim in 2012; brother, Bob Craig; two sisters, Beverly Warren and Judy Buchanan; two nephews and a niece.
Survivors include her sisters, Sally (Daniel) Vasquez of Newton, Vicki (Jim) Golik of Newton, and Mary Lou Sclair of Tacoma, Washington, her sister-in-law, Thelma Craig of Homewood, Illinois, and several nieces and nephews.
