Ida Beatrice Henry, 91, died Sunday, July 5, 2009 at the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, Miss. She was born April 16, 1918 to the late John and Emma Box Taylor.
She was a member of the Macedonia (Deen Town) Baptist Church and a Homemaker. She was a Loving Mother and Wife, she especially enjoyed visiting with her Children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
Services will be 11 AM Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at Ripley Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Terry Hall and Bro. Perry Reed officiating. Burial will be in Blue Mountain Cemetery.
Survivors include Three Daughters, Shirley Smith and Husband, Danny Ray, of Blue Mountain; Carolyn Rooker and Husband, Don, of Blue Mountain; and Ann Thomas and Wife, Ola, of New Albany; Three Sons, James G. Henry and Wife, Linda, of Ripley; Don Henry and Wife, Patricia, and Danny Henry and Wife, Roma, all of Blue Mountain; One Son In Law, Buddy Thomas of Blue Mountain; Two Sisters, Alma Doyle and Mavis Smith both of New Albany; 22 Grandchildren, 35 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Walter Thayer Henry, a Daughter, Dorothy Thomas and her Parents.
Pallbearers will be Jason Thomas, Eric Thomas, Keith Henry, Stacy Henry, Tyler Thomas and Chris Rooker.
Honorary Pallbearers wil be her Grandsons and Great-Grandsons.
Visitation will be Monday, July 6, 2009 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Ripley Funeral Home.
