She was a native of Ware County and was daughter of the late James Richard Day and Della Crews Day; also preceded in death by her husband William Stafford Booth.
She had resided most of her life in Waycross and was a member of Pebble Hill Baptist Church.
The survivors include a daughter, Gwen Stephens (husband Tommy) of Dublin;
a son, Stafford Booth, Jr. (wife Sharon) of Waycross;
four grandchildren,
Katrina Chancey, Will Booth, Deanna Booth and Chris Smith;
two great grandchildren, Dalton and Shelbie Smith;
a special niece, Dorothy Bechiom of Waycross;
and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Tuesday night from 7 until 9 o'clock.
