Committal services will be held Saturday, at 11 am at Guardian Angel Cemetery for William Somers, 52, a former Portage County resident who died Thursday morning in Chicago.
Rev. Francis Przybylski of St Bronislaw's Catholic church , Plover, will conduct burial rites.
Funeral services were held today in Chicago.
Mr Somers was born in Custer, October 18, 1902, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs Frank Somers. The family moved to Plover in 1910, and Mr. Somers lived there until going to Chicago as a young man.
He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Alice Keller, and Mrs. Isabel Koniarski, Chicago and Mrs. Bernice Cook, River Grove, Illinois and four brothers, Leonard, Rockford, Illinois, August, Omaha, Nebraska, Lawrence, Los Angeles, and Walter, Fond du Lac.
Mr Somers father died in 1954 and his mother in 1952.
Also preceding him in death was a sister, Mrs. Alice Graff, and two brother Adolph and Frank, Jr.
