Josephine Banks, 85, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 3:43 pm, Monday, February 8, 2021 at Miller's Merry Manor East in Wabash. She was born November 5, 1935 in Paintsville, Kentucky, to Everett Riley Sr.and Sarah (Mann) Blevins.

Josephine married Bennie G. Banks in Van Lear, Kentucky on October 7, 1976; he died May 24, 1979. She worked at United Technologies in Wabash. Josephine collected beanie babies, and enjoyed traveling with her brother, Everett.

She is survived by three sisters, Edna Marie Tackett of Washington, Lora (Terry) McGovern and Betty Lou Johnson, both of Wabash. She was also preceded in death by her parents, sister, Ruby Tackett, and two brothers, Everett Riley Blevins, Jr. and Virgil Allen Blevins.

Graveside services and burial will be 1:00 pm, Thursday, February 11, 2021, at Falls Cemetery, Wabash, with Rev. Tim Webb officiating. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash.
